Confidence is a feeling that is built over time. The ability to take action on any situation that may seem difficult to you or others without hesitation is confidence. Tackling difficult situations where we may feel uncomfortable require confidence. While it may seem tough at the time to accomplish, there are huge benefits that come as a result. Since you successfully defeated your task you now have the belief that you can achieve things others find hard. People will look up to you and become inspired to replicate your success and make them feel more comfortable knowing someone else has done it then they can too. Confidence is a feeling that no matter how hard the task at hand seems, you will complete it and everything will be fine in the end.
People who are confident have practiced and failed along the way to achieve where they are today. They become familiar about how to act in certain situations where they are under pressure to perform with the possibility of failure as a result. They are comfortable with this mindset and take it on anyways with all the fear and anxiety that comes along with it. Even if it seems like they aren't scared to others, the truth is they have just learned to live with it.
